On Wednesday I attended Concordia’s Early Childhood Conference. It was wonderfully inspiring, and someday maybe I’ll be able to implement some of the ideas and share them with you, but now I want to talk about parsley.
At the luncheon we were served a very nice sandwich/wrap that was garnished with parsley. I’ve always heard that eating parsley will freshen your breath, and since I had consumed a ton of coffee and had dragon breath, I ate some for the first time.
I crunched down, then stopped. It tasted exactly how the Harbor Freight store smells.
That’s weird, right?
Brad says
Maybe Harbor Freight uses parsley-scented air fresheners.
Lauren's dad says
Cheap, indeed!
Peggy says
I would say yes, that’s weird. I don’t think I’ve ever eaten a piece of fresh parsley. I’ll have to try it. I’ll let you know what Maryland store it tastes like.
Lauren's mom says
You very funny, Lauren!
Jane Sommerer says
I love parsley in salads. It is full of vitamins.
