(Warning: This story might just be chock full of holes. All interested parties must fill in the details.)
Once upon a time and long ago, there was a blue tuxedo that was new. Some nice man probably wore it to something formal.
Then it was used. Brad bought it for cheap at a thrift store.
Brad wore it to all fancy occasions at Concordia.
Time went by……
Brad brought it (at Beth’s request) to Seward this summer.
For some reason (and unbeknownst to Beth), he took it back home in October.
In January, Beth needed it. She checked with Brad (who is now in Hawaii) to see if it was still at our house.
It was not. It was in Baltimore.
Er.
But Peggy saved the day!
Denis (Brad’s roommate) got it to Peggy and she mailed it here quick as can be. Now, that tuxedo is doing some good at Concordia!
Click above for Beth’s version which shows the tuxedo in all its glory, or watch here:
Kristi says
Are you going to do a Lawrence Welk-type talent show with the preschoolers????
Brad says
I got the tuxedo for $1.
I acquired the ruffly shirt at a separate time for $3
Peggy says
That has got to be the best $1. investment ever!
And Brad…is this where your love of top hats began…with the blue tuxedo?

And it looks like Kathryn is wearing a light blue dress to match Brad’s tux. That is so sweet.
Was the picture from a dance or prom?
Deborah says
Are you going to put the link on here to show how it was used?
Lauren says
It’s the orange ‘Click here’ button at the bottom. I don’t know if it will work if you’re not signed in to Facebook. I added a different link if that one won’t work for you.
Gretchen says
Good teamwork!
Where is Samith’s date? Was she (Steph?) the photographer?
And on a completely unrelated note, next week my son is going to build his own ukulele (correlute) and learn to play it at school! Cool, eh?
