… please keep it that way.
Well, it’s a good thing Lloyd didn’t go to school today. He went to the doctor instead and after a chest x-ray, discovered that he had neumonia. (We’ve decided that if you are going to include the ‘p’, you must pronounce the ‘p’. Puh-neumonia.) It was caught early, which is good, but he’s on some medicine to knock it out and has to rest up a bit more.
He was up much of the night with a cough, and can I just say that the worst part of sickness is not knowing the right medicine to buy? We had cough medicine in the house but it didn’t seem to help him earlier (of course, we didn’t know it was puh-nemonia), so at 2:30 in the morning I went to Wal-Mart in my jammies to get some Delsym and look at their Wall of Medicine to try and figure out what would help. Now I have a couple more boxes of pills sitting around, just waiting for the next time they will be useless.
If you’d like to leave a well-wish for Lloyd, please be sure to use some unnecessary ‘p’s.
