I love t.v. I really, really do. I’ve got stuff to get done for Parent-Teacher conferences (yes, we do that in preschool) and it’s going s l o w l y because Bravo has new episodes of Top Chef! I love cooking shows! I was a Frugal Gourmet fan back in the pre-cable/PBS days, man.
Stupid Bravo. I hope my boss doesn’t read this.
Brad says
Never get a DVR system. It will multiply the problem ten-fold. I’m going to have to spend my whole spring break watching all the TV I’ve recorded.
Peggy says
Totally get the DVR … I just recently got it and WOW!
it’s the hot fudge on vanilla ice cream … it’s the butter on fresh, hot, bread … it’s the twisty pan for that awesomely delicious lasgna … Yea!
Karla says
I’m with you Peggy -- I can’t live without my Tivo. The only bad thing about it, is now I want to rewind my radio. 🙁
Brad says
Ha! I’ve experienced that exact same feeling! I’ve actually reached for a remote while listening to the radio.
Deanne says
That is so funny! We only recently got cable, so we may get some kind of DVR in, say, 25 years. But I can see how that would happen!
Deanne says
You guys are addicts. The first step is to admit you have a problem…
Kristi says
How about $100,000 to the person who can make Cling Wrap NOT cling to me?
Deborah says
I think Jerome likes it to cling to you.
(Sorry, couldn’t pass that one up!)
Kristi says
thanks a lot.
Brady G. says
What is this ‘cable’, ‘DVR’ and ‘TIVO’ thing you all speak of?
Lauren says
‘Tis all part of a magical box that enriches your life while stealing your soul. The first show is free.
