I took these pictures a while ago, but I’m still curious to know what did this. Brad put these seedums in pots by our front step, and about a month ago something dug into them and made holes. So what does this? A cat with an impatient bladder who can’t make it four more feet to the yard, or a less-than-bright toad who thinks he’s found the perfect place to over winter?

…a squirrel burying nuts?
I’m glad to see the plants aren’t dead. Yet.

The squirrels replant a lot of the stuff in my yard. They think I want walnut trees in all the pots and then they take the pretty stuff up the tree into their nest. A little frustrating, but fun to watch!

A small snake?

Those little plants are so cute. Do they need to come inside?

Those little plants are cute!
Maybe it’s ‘The Early bird’???
Lloyd says
Obligatory early bird quote:
‘The early bird gets the worm.’ Yes, but the second mouse gets the cheese.

Gnomes….those little buggers like to dig.

My vote is for a vole.
