Star Wars Memories

This song is wonderfully melancholy, and the paper animation is adorable. You must watch it.

I would consider myself a Star Wars fan, but not a crazed factoid-memorizing machine. I appreciate the story purely for its entertainment value. Our whole family went to to go see the first one when I was…..6? 7? I wasn’t entranced so much by the movie as by the fact that went to the drive-in – a first for me.

Lil’ Lauren: “Let me get this straight: I’m going to put on my pajamas, then we’re going out at night in the station wagon to watch a movie outside and eat popcorn? Where do I sign??”

Good times. Unless I’m imagining it.

That music sounds exactly like what you listen to! Did you add it to the “Melancholy Mix” on your Shuffle?

Excuse me, I have to go listen to something happy now.

No you didn’t imagine it. We were so excited…we meaning the kids. I don’t think Mom and Dad knew they were going to be sitting down for so long. They both fell asleep…
