Thinkin’ about a booth at the fair…

January 30, 2011

Drawings, Journal

I’m just kidding, of course. One of my pet peeves is when children wear sarcastic/rude t-shirts that are funny in theory, but really shouldn’t be worn. Things like, “I’m 100% good 5% of the time” or “Someday I’ll be your boss” or “Naughty is my business and business is good”.

Hmmm…. I seem to be a bit of a hypocrite.

I’m with you on this one. I think the important idea (that some people have trouble with) is “age appropriate”.

You should make a t-shirt that says something like “I am a stupid parent”. There would be at least one person that buys it.

Or you could make stickers that say: “I have a stupid parent”, and stick them on the t-shirts of children who wear inappropriate shirts.

I’m in full agreement with everyone….therefore I will retire this shirt from my collection.

Did you send a birthday card to your God-daughter?? She turned 18 today.

I wished he a Happy Birthday on Facebook. Does that count? She let everyone know that she could now (legally):

      purchase swisher sweets
      buy a lottery ticket
      enter an adult bookstore
      see an R rated movie

My son Tyler turned 25 last Thursday. My sister in law reminded me that he could now legally rent a car. Does that mean he can now legally drink and drive? Now that would be a snarly, beaving burning breaths t-shrit too!

I saw a baby t-shirt that read; “Mommy just wanted a back rub” I can’t fully endorse the stupid parent stickers as I feel they would just pave the way for “My child has a stupid snarky teacher” t-shirts.
