Saturday morning, 9 a.m. Lloyd and Lauren are just finishing breakfast after having slept in. (To be fair, they got up at 4 in the morning during a thunderstorm to go to Lauren’s work and cover the window well.)
Lauren, getting her third cup of coffee, hears the sound of a mower in the distance. “Is someone mowing? That is crazy.”
Lloyd: “Mowing? It’s too wet to mow. Who is it?” (Window glance) “Oh. It’s us.”
Yes, we have mowers! Kevin and Janelle’s sons are earning their way toward a big ol’ Boy Scout Jamboree in a couple of summers, and I am more than happy to pour cash in their hands as long as they keep my grass short.
Even in bad weather.

Those kids are old enough to do stuff like that?

So two boys with two mowers did the job? How long did it take them? (This sounds like the start of an algebra problem. If mower one can finish in 45 minutes, and mower two can finish in 65 minutes, how long will it take if they are mowing together?)
Lloyd says
I haven’t timed them yet, but I think it’s not much more than 15 minutes. They forget to bring drinks <wink> so that I can give them each a Pepsi when they are finished. This time I said I would give them a Pepsi every time if they picked up all the sticks in the yard. They assured me that they had, but there were quite a few sticks left. I think we’re going to have to have a talk.

Minions…..Excellent!
Lauren, do you think you could prototype some minions? I’d like about 4.
