It was a long, busy week and tonight was Blessedly unbusy. I called my parents to talk because their pastor – who was only 41 – died unexpectedly during before emergency gall bladder surgery. I jut feel so badly for his wife and children, who are in the same parsonage I grew up in. That thought is so weird to me. Prayers for them would be appreciated.
I watched a little tv and puttered around cleaning a little. Sam and Rachel are coming for visit but they aren’t staying here. That’s good, because this place ain’t company ready. I did a load of laundry, emptied the dishwasher, and decided to give the cats a bath.
So here I sit on the sofa, watching another t.v. show, fighting sleep, and waiting for Lloyd to come back from choir practice. A damp cat is leaning on my leg, and though tired and a little sad, I am grateful.
That’s all I got. My brain is fried.
