Lloyd had his concert in Omaha Saturday night, and since I can’t go to Sunday’s concernt in Lincoln (I have a meeting), I was eager to go shopping while they practiced attend this one. It did not disappoint. They sang some very lovely songs, and one wicked hard one that was very cool. The church was arranged such that I sat in the very front, so videotaping was awkward. I only have this snippet for now.
Speaking of the church, it was amazing. I wish I had taken a photo of the outside, because as we pulled up I told Lloyd it could be a chicken church. Inside, though, it was incredible! It was so open and beautiful, and the acoustics were amazing. I took some 360 shots. Here’s one. I wish I had taken more when the sun was up, because the windows were lovely when lit up.
The organ was gorgeous, too. I sat with Mr. Royuk and he said he knew the man who owned that organ company. He also kept calling it a ‘little’ organ but the thing had to be 20 feet tall! Look at the cool keys!
So, well done, Lloyd. I am proud of your group and you’re going to be great tomorrow!
