Happy Birthday to my brother, Phil! He never reads this, but I’m saying it anyway.
When I was digging through the box of stuff from Germany, Lloyd said, “That looks like a box of posts.” Once again, he was right.
Folks, what you are looking at is a 23-year-old tube of German toothpaste. I didn’t open it up, but it is still a little squishy in the middle. Anyone want to make a dare?
The other item is not a miniature roll of paper towel, it is toilet paper. I have no memory of using anything like this, so it’s all Lloyd’s story to tell.
Lloyd?
Lloyd: “It has little pieces of splinters embedded in it. It is the main reason for the fall of the Berlin Wall.”
There you have it. Tune in tomorrow for more weird German stuff.

Having just left Berlin, I attest to Lloyd’s description. It is the same in Amsterdam. I almost took some to teach my 5 1/2 year old that his life could be a little harder than it is. Count your blessings.
Lauren says
Sorry about your bum. Safe travels!! 🙂
Brad says
Is there sodium saccharin in that toothpaste? If not, I’m up for giving it a try.
Deborah says
I kept some of that tp, too?
Deborah says
. Not ?
Lloyd says
You and your punctuation!
Kristi says
Ah, Lufthansa!!
Mom says
Getting the opportunity to Tour at such a young age was marvelous.
