Preach it from the cul-de-sac, child!

June 2, 2011

Ok, I’m beating this video to death because I’m such a Facebook moron, but I liked it and then I re-posted it and now I’m putting it up here, but IT’S SO GOOD!

I love everything about this video – the kid’s speech trouble; his honest, breathless disbelief at his own skills; that he’s “happy of himself”; that his dad is silently laughing but is not making fun of him – “I’m happy of yourself, too”; and above all – his encouraging words if you can’t ride a bike, and his firm belief that we will get the hang of it – he knows it!

I already know how to ride a bike, but these are words to live by.

    Hehe… Awesome.

I think I’ve been falling behind on my memes. This is the second video this week that someone has said is old and I haven’t seen it even once.

I love how he has to ponder what he’s going to say. Then he bursts into his speech with such gusto.

I’ve never seen this either! He is too cute!! I bet we’ll see him running for president one day!

And I LOVE his phrase!! I’m going to use that alot today….I feel happy of myself!! Saying that out loud really does make me feel happy of myself.
