The kitties have only been pooping for three days, but they’re already screwing it up. On Tuesday there were a couple of stray poops, but one in the litter box so I thought they’d be fine. When I checked on them this morning (Wednesday), there were many, many poops all around! Anger! Anger!! I vastly reduced the size of their home so that more real estate would be taken up by the litter boxes. Tonight I came home to a poop-free pen. That’s a good thing.
Unexpectedly this evening, we had a sudden, quick thunderstorm after weeks and weeks of hot (over 100 degrees daily), dry (no rain since the end of June) weather. Thank you, God, for this welcome water!
Deborah and the girls came over for some kitty time, and we got to give her the hardback version of her website. She had asked some time ago if this was possible and then she could let go of the actual site, so get over there quick if you want to see it before it’s gone.
My celery continues to grow. It’s not going to produce any Ants on a Log, but I feel a large sense of accomplishment that it’s not dead.
A good day.

Thank you for the awesome books! Between dancing in the rain, playing with the kitties, and the book, it was a great day!

Love the book!

You can order one if you want (but it’s the same thing as the website). Deborah said something to Lauren about taking the website down, so I thought I’d print it out for her.

“That thing in the back is not a poop” — just saw this — as I was showing Jason Deb’s book — laughing out loud!

I love, love, love the picture of Deborah on the inside jacket and the picture of Charles and Deborah on the back cover.

Love the picture of Lloyd with the kittens! Was he filling in for PB, so she could have a break? What a guy!
And random good things are the best! The book idea is so cool!
Brad says
Isn’t Princess Batman supposed to teach the kittens how to poop properly? But she’s such a young mother…

Kittens having kittens. Where will it end?
