Arrived too early for home visit.
Girl in messy truck must just sit.
Goes through folder, goes through bag,
Tick tick tick, the time does lag.
How ’bout checking for some chapstick?
Some in armrest. Tick tick tick tick.
Huh, not too melty. Why? Can’t say.
Pretty hot in here each day.
What else is in here by my seat?
Jar candle here for winter heat.
Wonder if it’s melty-ish?
Pick up by lid…. NO! NO!
NO!
NO!
NO!
Idiot.
Beth. says
Well. Crap.
Deborah says
Rats!
Peggy says
Poop.
Brad says
Was the candle scented? It could be an air freshener.
Also on the plus side of things, a few hot days will make that wax melt and melt until it’s under the carpet and you’ll never have to look at it.
Peggy says
I was thinking once colder days come, you’ll be able to just crack it off.
(A few weeks ago, a men’s Spice deoderant stick fell out of one of my grocery bags and also melted. Some of it actually dribbled out onto the carpet of my trunk. Now the trunk of my car smells like a man. I hope no men I know go missing, because I don’t know if the authorities will believe my story.)
Kristi says
Oh, that’s not good. Rub some ice on it to help remove the stuck pieces.
Lauren says
Actually, it all turned out ok. It was mostly contained by the armrest, and it helped with a lot of decisions about whether or not I should throw away much of the junk in there. “Is it covered in wax?” is an excellent deciding factor. I also happened to have a lot of rags in the car from when the air conditioner in Lloyd’s car gave out (a never-written post), and since the wax was still liquid-y, I could just blot it out. And yes, it was lightly scented.
