Houses and such

July 19, 2013

Sam and Rachel have been in Seward the past couple of days. They are working on finding housing for when they move here soon. (Sam is going to teach at St. John. I’m not sure if I’ve said that already.) They have secured a rental (thank you, Beth!) and are working on figuring out a house to buy.

Today was a day of errands to help that process along. There is a property they are interested in buying, but it has some glitches. We got to visit various offices to ask about permits and assessed values and old loans and deeds. I went along because I have a iPad to take photos and I like to ride in cars.

I am leery about saying anything about the property because (a) I don’t want to get too excited about it in case it doesn’t happen and (b) you might swoop in and buy it for yourself! (You’re sneaky like that.) I’ll tell more when I’m able.

That old record room is cool. Did you discover any long-forgotten secrets? Are you the last descendant of a line of kings?

What?!? A cliffhanger post? Please don’t make us wait too long!

You like to ride in cars….HA!

Best wishes for getting that house Sam & Rachel!
