Holy cow. I’m having trouble. Just wait for the video tomorrow.
Lloyd and Brad were asked by someone to ‘host’ Spring Weekend in 1991 and act like they were a news team. At least that’s what I was told. It’s entirely possible they lied to me and jut stole a video camera. In fact, that’s much more likely because nothing ever came of their escapades except a couple of videotapes gathering dust in my house.
It’s a shame, though, because they really did a good job. Brad interviewed people well and Lloyd did a good job as cameraman. (Except when he tried to do crazy angles and zooms. And the crotch shots. I could have lived without seeing the crotch shots.)
The following is a very rough jumble of clips. I didn’t try to make anything fancy, I just grabbed some scenes. Enjoy! You’ll see Brad, and explanation of the obstacle course, Karla make a face, Kris laugh, Sam make excuses, and Stephannie smile. Kristi, I looked for you more, but couldn’t find you. 🙁
Kris says
The joke making the rounds (hundreds of times) among the preschoolers in the house:
Knock, knock.
Who’s there?
Boo.
Boo who?
You don’t have to cry about it.
And then they laugh and laugh, like it’s the first time they’ve even heard it:)
Peggy says
Can’t wait to see the Spring Weekend news team!
Oh and have you heard about the new corduroy pillows? They’re making headlines everywhere..
Kristi says
Why did the mechanic take painting classes?
He wanted to make the “van go.”
Brad says
I would tell a joke about pizza, but it’s a little cheesy.
