God bless Lloyd. I came home late tonight (getting ready for a special breakfast at work tomorrow) and he stopped at the store and had sandwich stuff all ready to go. Yay, food! Yay, Lloyd!
He also had eaten a fair amount of Cuties. He said that the grocery store had a sign that said, “Limit: One bag”. There must be some Cutie shortage that I am unaware of.
Anyway, as I was clearing the dishes I remembered that at the teacher conference a couple of weeks ago, I showed another teacher how you can spray the orange oil out of the peel. If you use an actual orange rind, the spray is pretty magnificent – like a teeny tiny, split-second fountain. What I didn’t tell her is that the Hofman kids used to spray that stuff over a candle to make a teeny-tiny, split-second flame thrower.
These cuties were pretty dry, but it was still fun. Ahhhh….. good times.

What did you tell that person that squeezing an orange rind was for, if not for making a flame thrower?
Lauren says
To be fair, it is pretty fun to just watch the spray. Plus, it smells amazing.
