‘Bye, Tree

Reduce, reuse & recycle

The Christmas tree is out of the bathroom.  In it’s place is a shelf from upstairs with stuff on it.  An improvement?  Perhaps.  Time will tell.

In other news, I have learned today that you should not eat chili while in a reclining position.  Twice.  (Two shirts in the washer.)

Your Christmas tree is just going away? I wonder if that’s some kind of record. Though I have heard about people leaving them up through Easter, changing the decorations as they went along. How long could something like that be sustained? Flag Day? The Fourth of July?

They make watermelon ornaments that could get you through August…and then apples for Septemeber and pumpkins for October and cornucpoias for November…I’m pretty sure you could make it all year…

To be fair, it was more of a ‘winter’ tree -- no ornaments at all. That’s timeless, isn’t it??

    It looks like a shrine of someone’s … but who’s I wonder?
