Journal, Lauren

So that lumber I worked on with my long toes is up and running. Our new three’s teacher needed a science center, so I needed to reinvent the wheel. I like makin’ cubbies, dang it! Last Friday I tried to hang a shelf here and discovered that there were no studs under this window. (This wall used to have garage doors. Anyway, when I took that shelf down and spackled the holes, I touched up the spots….. with the wrong color paint. Hence the stripe. She’ll set up the shelves how she likes – I just threw some stuff on there to make it look ‘lived in’.
full of science-y goodness

    Nice woodwork! Clever stripe!

  2. Brad Said on:

Did you spackle the holes with peanut butter or toothpaste? That would make an awesome addition to the science center: walls you can lick!

Um…that plant could use a little help. Are you sure this is the 3’s room…or is it Peggy’s office window?

  4. Annette Said on:

Are those square wheels you’ve reinvented?

Truly awesome. I’m way beyond impressed!

    Gimme a foot with toes,
    long, beautiful toes,
    Stretching, waving, steamin’, dancin’, prancin,
Give me out to there, (Toes!)
    Iguana length, longer … (Toes!)
Here baby, there mamma, everywhere daddy, daddy!

    Toes ….
    Know em’, show em’,
Long as God can grow em’, my toes!
