Lloyd

Little Known Lloyd Fact #28:  Lloyd does not like to eat the end of a sugar snap pea that he is holding as he eats it.  He calls them “pea butts” and leaves them on his plate.  Here’s the kicker – it isn’t always the same end of the pea pod.  Isn’t that a little hypocritical? Huh?  Am I right or am I right or am I right?

Eat the pea butts!

Stems from breaking beans to put up. Old habits are hard to break. I probably would do the same.

Perhaps you could find some recipe that uses the left-over pea butts. Or, better yet, some recipe that uses whole sugar snap peas that you trick Lloyd into eating. Ha!

Just to set the record straight, it is always the same side of the peapod that is discarded.

While I do eat pea butts, I certainly understand where Lloyd is coming from. I don’t eat the okra butts.

I can’t drink white milk from a white cup -- they’re never the same shade of white and does that mean that one is dirty? I feel your pain, Lloyd.

I didn’t know this would be “true confessions” about food eating. Here’s (one of) mine: When I drink from a glass, I always drink from the same spot. I don’t like multiple lip marks all around the edge.
