Rats.

Rats rats rats. I didn’t accomplish much today (which is glorious! – and not the reason for the rats) so I don’t have much to write about. I was going to post a photo of the pancakes I’ve been eating for every meal, but I accidentally deleted it (that’s the rats). Actually, that would have been quite dull, so maybe it’s for the best.

Soooo….. What do I write about? I could have shown you the mess that Beth’s cats (our cats’ siblings) made when I went to check on them while they were away for the night. They destroyed a bag of pecans and a pack of jerky, but I didn’t get a picture. (Beth, the one you sent is on my crummy phone.) Good to see that being adorable vandals runs in the family.

Hmmmmm….. Still stalling….Lloyd is on the mend. He has been resting on the couch and has been drinking my Restorative Tea (patent pending) and even managed to eat a little food. I stayed close by to watch episodes of ‘Sherlock’ all day tend to him like Florence Nightingale. Tomorrow if he feels up to it he’s going to help me put the furniture back at school. Wait! I have photos of that! Give me a minute –

Each Christmas we move the furniture off the carpets so they can be deep-cleaned. It’s like playing a giant game of Tetris to get it all on the tile and also leave a clear path to the door and the sink. I went in on Saturday to put some of it back, but enough of the pieces are rickety enough they need two people to move them so they don’t break. So Lloyd, heal up!

(Shhh…. it’s tea, honey and lemon. Then dub it ‘restorative’ and serve with something like Restorative Oreos.)

      Feel better, Michelle!

Its for Aaron, he adds ginger root, peeled and chopped up.
        Maybe a garlic clove too.
        Cough cough cough!
He heads back to TX today.
