Well, Mom isn’t going home just yet. Her blood is wonky, so they gave her a pint and topped her off. She tried walking but it wasn’t working. She’s going to go to a rehab facility for a little while so they can get her the help she needs. (Unfortunate, Amy Winehouse’s ‘Rehab‘ keeps going through my mind. That’s a song about addiction, but dang it, it’s so catchy!)
I told my summer kids about Mom and we made some get-well pictures. I need to take photos of all of them. I’d send them to you for real, Mom, but they’re not all winners like this:
Brad says
Ha! I love Raelynn’s message.
I’d buy get well cards that looked like that and said those things. The cards in the store are awful. Maybe your school could print some up and have them be sold in St. John’s narthex on Sundays. Potential fund-raiser…
Be better soon, Lauren’s mom!
Brad says
And how do you know pop music songs? I listened to that song, and it didn’t even sound familiar. Are you some kind of young person or something?
Kristi says
Hope your mom’s recovery goes smoothly.
Love the cards. Kid cards really are the best…and candid.
Mom says
We loved the cards from your kids. Know youR Mom would also. Hope she recoups quickly.
