I think I can talk about this now. Remember when the Marxhausen family donated the contents of the studio for a yard sale last year? Well, they have since donated a bunch of actual art for us to sell to raise funds for the CDC. Over the past several months, Lloyd has put that big ol’ brain of his to work and has been organizing, photographing, cataloging and working on pricing the items. I am sure that at some point he will write one or two amazing posts about what he’s been up to. He’s still not done, but I am doing what I can to help, which isn’t much.
That is, I am painting over dumb ‘inspriational quote’ plaques (bought in the clearance aisle at Hobby Lobby) with primer/paint so we can mount some of the wooden art pieces for a show (date TBA).
There. That was vague enough, right?

If you were in St. Louis, you could put the last unclaimed items out by the curb with a sign that said, “Any item $10. Knock on front door to claim and pay.”
By morning everything would be gone and you would have had an uninterupted night’s sleep.

Doesn’t matter. Was funny. Would read again.
