Out at night.

So, every other night this week I’ve been in bed before eight o’clock. I didn’t feel sick – it just seemed like the thing to do. Tonight, however, I went to a concert. In Lincoln, no less.

A dear lady that used to work at the CDC long ago has a son who is getting his second doctoral degree – this one in music. Tonight was the world premiere of his work, performed by the UNL woodwind ensemble. It was lovely, and I was glad that my friend Kate asked me to go along.

Anyway, it’s late now and I have been up two hours past my bedtime, so this is short and sweet.

I always feel dangerous and adventuresome to be out at night on a weekday.
