Drinkable

Well over …. 12 years ago? (It had to be that long because I didn’t make a post about it.) well over 12 years ago, I made myself some homemade Kahlua, poured it in an old thermos, put it in a basement and forgot about it for over a decade.

Tonight, the Pesters came over and I got it out.

It was difficult to pry the stopper out of the thermos, but once it was open, it didn’t smell as bad as I thought it would. Everyone was brave enough to try a little, except Harold, which was wise (he could drive us all to the hospital if I had accidentally brewed poison) and pronouned it…. drinkable.

“Brad, your thoughts?”

… that might be the poison talking.

It was really pretty good. It didn’t taste exactly like Kahlua, but I wouldn’t expect it to. I could have had a whole glass of it, if I wasn’t so worried about being poisoned.

Nobody else has posted. Are you all suffering from Kahlua poisoning? Harold? What happened?
