Canker & cranky

August 7, 2018

I’ve had a run of canker sores lately. One under my tongue a couple of weeks ago, then one on my cheek, now one on my soft palate. Annoying, but nothing too severe. When it started, I wondered if I had strep throat, so this is at least a non-doctor issue.

I’m a little tired and cranky. The house de-odorizing is a slow process. Today was mopping the basement stairs and laundry room and changing the furnace filter. There is something in our entryway that has a weird smell, too. I suspect it is the unplugged mini fridge that Lloyd bought at an auction. Why, smells, why?

Get better soon and buy some l-lysine. Crushed capsules on the sore helps, too.

Ugh. An annoying health thing can sometimes be worse that just being full-on sick. I hope it’s better soon!

Sorry about the canker sores! Those make me cranky too. My remedy is to dab them with hydrogen peroxide on a q-tip. It hurts a bunch for a few seconds but then heals quite fast.
