You boys are full of good ideas. I’ve been using scrap boards from the construction leftovers -- which are just wide pieces of trim -- attached to the wall and then screwing the dispenser to that, along with lots of internal swearing. Our studs are not 16 inches apart, so the piece of wood is in a stud on one side and anchors somewhere else. Mark, I should have used Molly anchors for that. Anyway, they are good enough for now.

I guess I’ve only ever seen those mounted to cement block walls. I don’t even know how you would mount them to drywall.

Are you using toggle-bolts (butterfly anchors)?

I personally like mounting a board to the wall then attaching the item to the board. Not always the prettiest look, but more stable for sure.
