At the CDC, there is a spot right above the hallway doors that is a little empty.
Some of us were percolating on the space. It would be a great spot for a Bible verse, and we wondered about surrounding it with dots or photos of the children. I did a photoshop mock-up.
A nice frame with the Bible verse and photos of the children would be so much better, but Sam’s Club had big wooden signs for twenty bucks that could be modified ‘quickly’, and I had a free afternoon.
I painted it all black over the word, then stole some silhouettes from the internet to use as stencils.
Paint, paint, paint.
For the verse, one of my co-workers cuts out words from that vinyl stuff, so that was a big help.
It’s done enough, but it needs a little tweaking. It’s almost like what I pictured, but a little dark. At least it’s done. Well, except for hanging it.

Well done! Those kinds of projects are fun.
Thank you for praying for my dad. He’s home now. Please pray that the medicines are effective and that he starts feeling better.

Wow, Lauren! You “de-art” beautifully!

Thanks, guys. Today I’m working on ‘de-rainbowing’ the purple edges.
Deborah, he is in my prayers!

Um, I am having some login issues and my tech guy is in bed. Happy New Year, everyone!

It’s beautiful. Also, it reminds me of the Lord of the Rings 🙂
