I had a grand experiment: I was going to re-create the meal I had at Shogun Japanese Grill Place That I Can’t Remember The Proper Title. Sure, I didn’t have a giant grill, skill with a knife or the ability to do tricks, but I do have ingredients and a source of heat. Let’s do this!
I had the chicken cut up, rice a-cookin’, and the vegetables diced. Then I realized….
I had enough soy sauce for either rice, chicken or vegetables. This meal is on hold.
In other news, here are the onion photos. I chopped up about 6 onions and put them in the crock pot with some oil. I cooked them on high for several hours, then turned them down and forgot about them.
I woke up and remembered that this was happening, and loaded them into some jars. They might need a little pan frying before actually using, but they look pretty good.
The end.

Mmm… I bet those onions are sweet like candy.

AND you had bread. Mmmmmm.
