All the plumbing is broken

January 29, 2019

Ugh. I think I’ve mentioned that both of our shower/tubs are having issues. Well, now the upstairs toilet is added to the list. Something is wonky with the fancy float (it has some pressurization thingie involved in the guts) and it is failing. How did I know? By the constant hissing Sunday night and the SCREAMING this morning when I flushed it. Good grief. It may be time to buy a new house.

Oh, and as of this writing, it is bitterly cold ’round these parts. Lloyd’s school is cancelled and I am 100% sure that Seward schools will cancel, but we will be open for business and it will be yet another crazy day. Good times all ’round.

We’ve been talking about the coldness sweeping through the mainland. I hope y’all stay warm. And I hope you have a working toilet. Ugh.

Like all things toilet related, this too shall pass.

Our new toilet, shut off valve, flange, seal and piping are finally in.

Stay warm. Cold doesn’t last forever, but heat and humidity sure seem to.

Just a late start. Still not good for you, but not a whole day.
