I forgot to take a before photo, but let me tell you about the current quest.

In the copy machine room at work, we have had a jumble of furniture to hold a different jumble of things. There was a cabinet to hold papers that get taken away to be shredded, and on top of that was our iPad where we keep notes for the day. Beside that was a skinny end table to hold a computer and other things like binders.

It has bothered me for a while, and every so often I look for a cool piece of furniture to have instead. I realize now that it will be at IKEA. Until then, I am repurposing junk that we already have. This was the first prototype:

It seemed to work out, so I added another shelf that was stashed away and hodge-podged some more stuff, too.

Hmmmmm….. this might be worse than the original……..
