On Tuesday, I received a cryptic message from Beth saying that I really should buy some Totino’s pizzas before coming home, I had just spoken to Lloyd and he was cryptic about having had a bad day, so I figured that Beth had the scoop and knew he needed pizza – STAT.
Well, those conversations proved to be unrelated. Lloyd’s day was just normal bad and Beth….. had dropped off a toaster oven for my summer kitchen!! (Brad, you have inspired us all.)
Beth stopped by after dinner and we christened it by bakin’ up a Totino’s party pizza. They’re square now, in case you were unaware.
It worked perfectly! Hooray!
Well, that could only mean one thing: time to work on the new and improved summer kitchen.

It needs a lot of work, but it is an excellent start for hot summer days. Thank you, Beth! (Speaking of hot weather, I have a funny one for tomorrow.)
Beth says
A most excellent summer kitchen. ?

Toaster ovens are genius! You can make something hot without heating up the entire house because of the beastly-sized oven. You go, girl!

I’m trying to decide between one of those or an air fryer. Anyone have thoughts on the subject?
Lauren says
I’ve never seen an air fryer in action, so I don’t know. I’d be curious to see how they work, though!
Sorry I didn’t post my funny story last night. There is a critical picture I need to take first. Catch you tonight. 🙂

Yay! I love my toaster oven. Re-heating things have not been the same since I got it… pizza, chicken… anything with a crispy or crunchy texture is amazing!
