Unexpectedly delightful composition

I get to work early so I can get things done before I gather up my children. This morning I was typing at one of the tables and looked over at the counter. I was struck by how some items on the counter aligned color-wise:

Look at those blues and reds! So cool!

Lest you think that my countertop is always gallery-worthy, let’s take a gander at the first photo, the one where all the junk is everywhere. (AKA: normal)

The dark line on the vase lines up very nicely with the dark line under the Oreo lid. Nice!

I remember that cookie game. I played it a lot when my youngster was young. Good times.

Oh, and the colors are excellent!

Very satisfying. I think I still have the Oreo game, along with a fun ice cream game that comes with it’s own scoop! It spins the Neapolitan ice-cream around and whatever color it lands on, you use to play your next move. Maybe we should play it at our next game night. 🙂

I thought it was so nice to have Oreos with your morning coffee and come to find out it is a game!
The colors are good but the sweet tooth was better.
