If we had just checked the filter, we wouldn’t have cleaned the basement, so I guess some good has come out of this travesty. (Lloyd maintains that there still might have been something else wrong with the furnace. We’ll see when the bill comes.) It’s not spotless, but it’s better than it was.
It was a long day. Sorry I’m not writing more.

I like the decorative cat throw you placed on the floor in the second picture. It really makes the colors pop and ties in with the whimsical theme of the space. (Am I missing any HGTV buzz words?)
Annette says
I think the only HGTV thing missing is Ty Pennington, (weep!), AND wildly geometric fabric drapes to cover the storage shelves. Likely a pattern to match the floor design.
Deanne says
Wow! That’s a lot of cleaning. Thank God for dirty filters that make you clean your basement!
Lloyd says
It was a lot messier from the other angle. I suspect Lauren went with this angle because of the cat.
Lauren says
I went with this angle because it was easier to hide the cat barf stains this way.
Lloyd says
I thought you were embarrassed about the books.
Karla says
Even when your basement was messy, it was neater than ours. Maybe we should stop changing our filter…
Peggy says
Thanks for the pictures … now today I can play
“What’s different in these pictures?” I’ve already started & its really fun. I’ll let you know the total when I’m finished.
(Note from an elder: Stop cleaning…life is too short)

Way to go, Sommerers! I’m sure that Phennig provided moral support, right? I suppose the best for Cricket to help was to stay out of the way.
