Sunday was a pleasant day around here. We went to church, Wal-Mart, and to Brad’s parents for a delicious lunch. I came home to try for the bazillionth time to get the color out of my white clothes, then took a death nap. (That’s the kind of nap where you keep dreaming that you’re trying to wake up but you can’t.) We spent the evening helping to make Concordia’s float for the 4th of July parade.
Lloyd’s been having fun in Texas. They had some workshops the past few days, but tonight was the keynote, complete with entertainment! Yee-haw!!!
Deanne says
It’s mariachis! Awesome! Did Lloyd learn how to do all those fun trills and yeee-ha-ha-ha’s? Did he learn any sad, slow ballads? (Did he understand anything?)
Brad says
I counted 25. Am I right?
I’m guessing there’s a booth that sold or gave out hats, because really, how many computer people do you think actually wear cowboy hats?
Lloyd says
13,000 hats. One on every seat. The said there were18,000 people here all together, so I guess not all of them came to the keynote. It took me 20 minutes to walk out of the convention center to meet Paul.
Lauren says
They gave you hats?? Do you have a hat for me? Please send a picture of you in a hat!
Lloyd says
I gave my hat to Declan.
Lauren says
Finish that song --
I gave my love a cherry that had no stone….
