My Main Squeeze

August 22, 2008 by Lauren 4 Comments

No, not Lloyd.  Bob. Bug-Out Bob.

Squeeze me!

Did you ever have one of these as a kid?  I recall having one – or at least access to one.  It’s very satisfying to make the eyes all googly. I got this one for school for a particular little boy who has some trouble with his hands.  This way he has something that is ok to throttle, rather than his friends. (If you get really good you can pop all the pieces out one by one in a controlled manner.  I have great control over my own personal rage.)

Practice, my little padwan.

That’s an old-timer toy. Next you need to get one of those wheels that hangs between two wires and spins up and down. I would post a link, but I can’t seem to find it right now.

I think it is called a Gyrosphere. My kids have a light up version which they are wholly unimpressed with, but I’ve had some fun. All budding young physicists should have a toy with such an intellectual-sounding name.

Bug out Bob must be a controlled substance because I had to pay for it to be “dropped shipped” by UPS, and sign for it upon delivery.

      It is addictive, y’know.
