Delicious, I say!

January 13, 2009 by Lauren 15 Comments

Rebecca (3 years old)  made hot chocolate with marshmallows and bacon in it today.  It was delicious!  I really like air hot chocolate – all of the flavor with half the calories.

Fatty, but sweet.

Since I wasn’t able to share the cocoa with you, I’ll share this:  Bacony!   Or maybe this?  Brad & Bacon.  Or Beth?

No, despite his genius and deep love of bacon, Lloyd didn’t write that.  You can find out about it here.

Now you have to try it for real and give us a full report. It actually sounds interesting…

Oh, I don’t advise that. Although lots of people like sweet & salty things. In Colombia, they put cheese in their hot chocolate. It gets all melty at the bottom of the cup.

Should have commented yesterday, but how can I get a Miracle Bar without making my own?

To be fair, I’ve promised to mail them to people, then not done so. We’ll see how it goes. Don’t let Brad give you an old one, Brady -- they go a little grainy after a long time and are ‘off’.

Just drop them off at my house. I’ll mail them for you. 😀

I don’t need one really. Stuff doesn’t soak into my skin. I think it’s because of all my super powers.

And then you can cut it in 1/2 and give 1/2 to me…ok?

BTW: LOVE the bacon that comes up on the sites…it looks so real…unless I’m just really hungry.

What a coincidence! I was just given 9 pounds of bacon (this is in addition to the 3 pounds I received last week) and I was wondering what to do with it all. I’m going to go make some hot cocoa right away! Unfortunately, it is the pre-cooked variety so it does not work so well for bacon mats.

I wonder if you could use bacon fat instead of olive oil to make the lotion bars?

What about gloves made out of bacon?!? You could put your hands in them at night and wake up to breakfast and softer hands!
