Today was graduation at Concordia University, and everybody and their dog graduated today! Annette (who you know from the commenting), Darlene and Zoya (two fellow teachers) all got their Masters in Early Childhood Education. Kudos to them!! My student teacher, Anne, and a couple of the college aides also graduated with their bachelors degrees. If I knew how to work Photoshop, this picture would have Darlene, Zoya and Annette circled. You’ll just have to figure out who’s who on your own.
Annette had a celebration at her house that evening, which was very fun and well-attended! The Pesters and Curt were there, and it was the first time Annette and Curt have talked that wasn’t in our comment section. 🙂 Everybody had a great time, especially the kids. Annette has a giant dirt pile next to her house that used to be her basement. The little ones had a blast climbing to the top.

Is that mountain staying there? …because that is awesome! It should have a path spiraling around the outside. Lloyd could help with that. He has mountain-path-building experience.
That’s a really cool picture of it, Lauren. You have camera skilz.

The guys were discussing the best routes to build highways to the top for our toy trucks.

I’m glad I thought to have the dirt moved in for the party! Did the rest of you know that Curt DOES NOT have an afro??
Lloyd says
Or that Lloyd now does?

And LOVE the mountain of dirt! LOVE.
Hey, wouldn’t it be fun for all us commenters, especially those who have never met, to meet in a central location one weekend? How about it?
Lloyd's Mom says
Great mound of dirt. Just the thing for kids. Congratulations all around.
