One of my favorite things to do is fall asleep in front of the t.v., so that was last night’s mission. I woke up at 7a.m. and – get this – went right back to sleep. Best vacation ever!
Then I got up and tried to be a little productive. One of the things on the list was to fill in the new hole in the front yard. When the tree trimmers were here Monday, they pulled out the post with the basketball hoop by our driveway that came with the house. We never use it, so it was time to go. The post had a ton of concrete at the base, so removing it made quite a hole.
I went out to fill it in with some of the sod that Brad removed from our yard. And when I say ‘I went out to fill it’, I mean Brad did.
I took pictures.
Now it will be harder to tell people where we live. It used to be ‘the last house on the left with the basketball hoop’. Now Santa will never find me.
“The house on the left just past the last one with a basketball hoop.”
You’re right. It’s all confusing now. Good luck Santa.
I, on the other hand, distinctly remember using the basketball hoop on a number of occasions (said number being one).
Who is the fourth person in the photo? Might it be someone I know and love? (Besides you!)
If you know and love Lloyd’s dad, then yes!
lol I thought it looked like Sam. I guess they are all related.
(Ain’t it spooky?)
I believe this is the first picture that I have seen on this site where Lloyd is this active.
Did you digitally alter the photo to give yourself a vertical leap????
We physically altered the backboard instead (much easier).
I say this is the perfect opportunity to get a cool lawn ornament…’The last house on the left…the one with an antique tractor on it.’
Actually, I’m still looking for one of these. That would be pretty distinctive.
A pink flamingo?
Or how about, ‘The last house on the left…the one with the teardrop trailor in the driveway.’
Stop it, Peggy! You’re gonna make Lauren cry. 😉
After I rent the sod cutter again next year, it will be “The house without the lawn.”
HA!
