Good evening, General Binks.

December 3, 2009

Everything is making me crazy.

But this was crazy in a good way. Lloyd and I came home after stopping at Subway to a cryptic message on the Magna-Doodle (see above). It was such strange handwriting, and I didn’t know what the heck it was talking about. I looked around the first floor briefly, but I had a sandwich to get to eatin’.

On the way downstairs to get a pop, this greeted me:

Me'za leasta popular character.

ARHHHGGGG!!! Jar Jar Binks is in my house! Jar Jar Binks is in my house!!!!

Once I realized it was (thankfully) not the real Jar Jar Binks, I went through the likely suspects who could have done this.

Beth? No – sneaky, but hates movies.

Melanie? Has lots of props, but the handwriting is wrong.

Kate. It was Kate, my friend from work! She disguised her handwriting to throw us off the trail. She’s cleaning out her old house to rent it out, and blessed me with this gungan. I can never thank her enough.

That would scare the crap out of me if I came around the corner and saw it. Maybe this wasn’t a friendly gift. Maybe Kate is secretly trying to kill you by heart attack.

Do all your friends have keys to your house, or do you just never lock your door?

Maybe the General will read some of those books. That might improve his speech??

He can have all of the Anne McCaffrey books. I’m pretty sure I have everything she wrote up until about 1992. After that, I became not at all interested in them. It was strange. I can’t explain it.
