It’s in the eyes.

Kittens, Uncategorized

Here are some photos I took a couple of days ago trying to capture the eye colors of the kittens. Apparently this is when their eyes change color. The orange boys still have fairly blue eyes, but Fivel and one of the girls (I can’t remember who and I’m too lazy to walk over there and check) are veering toward gray. It’s very apparent in the sunshine.

Ok, it must be Christopher Robin who has gray eyes. This is Mika.

Hey, b-baby.

Though the blue eyes have that bit of yellow-gold in the middle. Is that normal?

He looks very majestic, doesn't he? I don't know who this is.

I’ve always thought I had brown eyes, but up close they are green around the edges. Does that mean hazel?

And then there are crazy eyes, such as the eyes of Princess Batman and her doppelganger from the past – Brad and Beth’s childhood cat, Lucy. Apparently Lucy was more psycho than PB, though I’d be hard pressed to imagine how that is possible.

Look at those crazy eyes.

I’ve seen commercials for some drug that’s supposed to make you grow eyelashes, and in the side-effect part, they say it may make your eye color change. Weird.

You aren’t using eyelash drugs on the kittens to make them look cuter, are you?

Oh my gosh….those pictures are excellent!! LOVE them!

And PB is too much! Her aura lets you know not to mess with her.

And I can’t get over how much Lucy & PB look alike. They may be related!

Your banner picture reminds me of this:

I always liked this song even though I don’t know what it’s about. Is is singing about a potato? Les yeux sans visage…

(Sorry, but when I’m under stress my thoughts are even more all over the place)

Do we have first dibs on kittens?…because there is lots of discussion going on in this house…
