Sam and Rachel are in town! Sam is visiting St. John about a teaching position, and Rachel is just tagging along for the free hot lunch they’re going to have at school on Tuesday. Girl loves her tater tots*.
We had a very nice visit Monday night, but of course I forgot to take a decent amount of photos so I’d have something to show for it. We took them out to Dragon Palace for dinner (where Lloyd and I both conveniently didn’t have our wallets [oops]), then drove around Seward for a little bit. Back at the house we visited for a while. Lloyd and Sam talked computer-y stuff and Rachel and I listened humbly and mutely, as good wives should.
Ha!
I hope they enjoy their stay in Seward! Everybody should tell them one great thing about living in Seward, Nebraska. It need not be factual. For instance, Seward is home to the World’s Largest Time Capsule, and also The World’s Largest Cough Drop.
* Note: Rachel, if you are reading this, I don’t know if we’re having tater tots. I’m sorry.

Tuesday’s lunch menu is: grilled chicken/bun, strawberries/cream, corn, rice pilaf.

In addition, there was a double chocolate chip cookie.

Let’s hear it for SEWARD!! The best thing about Seward is all the wonderful friends you already have living there!
And if that isn’t enough, there’s this. Famous Andy from Nebraska: Woo hoo!

Mmm… tater tots….
In case anyone was confused, Seward actually does have the world’s largest time capsule. There is, at this time, no world record for the largest cough drop.

The best thing about living in Seward, Nebraska is St. John Child Development Center is there.
(And personally, Lloyd and Lauren live there!)
