Springtime in Seward

May 16, 2013

Ahhhhh, spring. The time of year when Git ‘n Split drags a booth outside for old men to gather, drink coffee and gossip.

Wonderful Spring – when I pull into the driveway, see the foot-high dandelions and sigh to myself, “Yep. We are That Yard. Sorry, neighbors.”

So you’re the reason we have so many dandelions here in the “northern” country. My allergies also thank you. 🙂

And the time of year when your car turns green from all the pollen! Which causes your sinuses to just give up & stay clogged.

    Happy Spring to all!

Hehe… the placement of that booth makes me laugh. I can’t imagine trying to sit and drink coffee while cars are pulling up to within a few feet of the table. Just the weird eye contact with the drivers would be bad enough… not to mention the car exhaust.
