I napped a little Friday night but woke up and was struggling to think about a post topic. It was hot in here, so I walked around and cracked open the windows. Up in Brad’s room, I saw this out the dark window:
It was those darn flamingo people! Our church’s youth group has a brilliant fundraiser where you send a flock of flamingos to someone’s yard for a small fee.
It’s funny, and if I didn’t have That Yard I would be delighted, but tomorrow I pray that our yard boy is able to come and mow down the yard-high dandelions after he relocates some birds.
I’ll get you, Pesters. (fist shake)
But I do thank you for the post fodder.

They looked stunning in our yard when I got home today. The pink against the dark green grass and the deep blue of an approaching storm. Stunning.
