So…. Lloyd was in Kearney last night at a conference, so it was just me and the cats snoozing away in the bed, when …..
BOOM!
You may recall that I’ve had a bad experience with nighttime thunder.
It was a sleepless night full of irrational worry. I wanted to cover my head with my pillow, as is my custom, but I was too preoccupied with listening for knocking.
It’s storming tonight – I think I’m just going to leave a note on the door for the police. “Please don’t knock – we didn’t call.”
Brad says
You should train the cats to open the door. Then you could sleep in peace.
Peggy says
HAHAHAHA!! LOVE the picture! LOVE!
Hope you sleep better tonight! Btw: Are you getting snow?
Deborah says
No snow. But pretty serious thunderstorms.

You know, now that you have family in town you can come crash at our house any time that the “frets” come to visit you. (They can be such annoying house guests.) Then, when the police show up at your house and their is no one there but the cats, they will begin to wonder just how smart those felines of yours are. Please draw me a picture of the cats all sitting at the front door, looking up at the police officer, with not so innocent looks on their faces. 🙂

Those cats haven’t a care in the world, do they?
