After long day, came home beat.
Scooped cats’ poops then let them eat*.
Washed the clothes from VBS,
Hung to dry – a dripping mess.
Sat down much too late to write,
Checked Facebook and ‘habit’ sites,
then e-mail. (I’ll ask Lloyd, Dad.**)
No good post tonight. Too bad.
* I did not feed them poop, if
you think I’m that stup id.
** Dad has a question for
Lloyd who is snor***
***ing.
Brad says
Habit sites. That’s a good descriptor. I sit down at the computer and my hands automatically bring up the same sites.
Deborah says
Tell me about the flickr photos with Uncle Vernon, please.
Lauren says
I’m taking the day off from posting.
Lloyd will have to answer the Uncle Vernon question. Have you visited sommererfamily.com?
Lloyd says
Note: Deborah is talking about the flicker photos on the right.
Uncle Vernon took a fairly large number of pictures while he was stationed in Japan. A couple of albums worth. He was an MP during the war trials, so he saw lots of famous people. He got to know some of the Military Photographers too, and they would give him photos that he was in. I’m assuming they snapped a couple of pictures, developed them all and only had an actual use for the best ones, but I’m just guessing.
Uncle Vernon wrote his recollections of his service in WW2 a few years ago and we’re putting them up at ye olde family website. I didn’t put them all up at once, because it makes it lee likely that people will comment on them.
Deborah says
That’s amazing!
Thanks for letting me know.
