Home visits have been going well this year. It’s a lot of work, but when they’re over I’m glad I’ve done them.
This year I have met a lot of very friendly large dogs, and also a few little ones, thankfully not yappy. Though I’m a cat person, I am not opposed to dogs. What I am not fond of, however, is the doggy smell (sometimes faint, sometimes strong) that gets on my hands. I usually have a wet wipe or two in my glove box, but used them up the first night. They clean me up enough until I can get home and wash my hands.
I restocked the glove box tonight. More visits, more dogs.

I keep a bottle of Purell hand sanitizer in my car for such emergencies. I love how it smells before it dries. Sometimes I even use it when I don’t need it just so I can smell my hands. Mmm… Citrusy and alcoholy…

Did you happen to suddenly crave Fritos during any of your visits?

Ha! I had no idea that dogs could also be mistaken for a tasty snack. 🙂
