I think I’ve talked about the new CDC that has been in the works for such a long time. It will all happen in God’s time, but here is a little ‘get people up to speed’ blurb that I made. It occurs to me as I hear myself talk that I don’t like how I say ‘a’ – long or short, it bugs me.
(Tomorrow I will share with you some masterpieces that Sam made.)

I didn’t notice any funny pronunciations of “a”. I avoid saying the word “futile” because it doesn’t sound right any way that I say it.

Awesome!

My troublesome word is: pecan

GREAT video, Lauren. I don’t like my “a”s either. 🙁

So well done and so well said. Thanks, Lauren!

My dear sister, this is PERFECT. From a fund-raising and campaign perspective, you have hit it out of the park.
Start, and end, with the WHY.
The video does that perfectly. It’s not about the money. It’s about a more hopeful, inspiring future.
Even more important, it’s all about JESUS. Thank you for the inspiration. I will be showing this to my team, and to a crop of new missionaries, as an example of how the church should go about funding its mission.

How is the congregation and community receiving and responding to this video? April 26th isn’t too far away and I’m just that curious.
Love you,
Mark

We are doing pretty well. It hasn’t played in church yet -- it’s just been linked to on our Facebook pages. We are….. 70%(?) toward meeting the matching grant. (I think we have $580,000 pledged so far. That was two weeks ago -- we were out of town this past weekend.) Any advice? 🙂
