That’s right. I know how to live. Buy a turkey sandwich at the gas station for dinner, but here’s the twist: eat it open-faced, then save the extra bread for the morning and put peanut butter and jelly from individual packets on the bread! Crazy! I know, right?
I’m a smucker for tiny packaging. 😉
Also, I will make an excellent homeless person.

Those packets are awesome! I’ve seen the little individual cups of peanut butter, but these squeezable packets seem so much easier. I just made a peanut butter and jelly sandwich this morning for my lunch today. I used jars and silverware like a chump.
Lauren says
Ha, you chump. 🙂

I make a LOT of PBJ -- just ask Sam -- and I am on a mission to make a better peanut butter jar. I like the pb on my bread not my knuckles. (Although, Chapin likes the pb on my knuckles…)
Peggy says
Hehe….so true about the knuckles!
Lloyd says
It had been a long time since I had a peanut-butter and jelly sandwich. I enjoyed it so much that I had two more for dinner last night. Except I prefer Jam to Jelly and Preserves to Jam.
Peggy says
I prefer jam too! But not preserves. And I love PB&J sandwiches. LOVE!
But I couldn’t eat that sandwich without spreading out the PB&J with a knife. And I would have had to put the PB on one piece of bread and the J on the other. I’m not sure what that says about me, but I’m sure it’s not good.
