Saturday is the preschool fall festival, a little event put on by the three faith-based preschools in town. We had our first one last year and it was fairly successful. This year, one of the leaders is out on maternity leave, so we are filling in for her. The Photo Booth that she made last year was this board with holes in it, but it had paper scarecrows attached.
The scarecrows did not survive.
Fortunately, our very talented school-age coordinator drew these lovely flowers and had the school-age children paint it. It looks great.
Then I had to wreck it by slapping a piece of particle board from my basement on it so it will stand up.
That is I hope it stands up. It won’t be much of a festival if it falls and crushes someone, huh?

Happy festivalling!

UPDATE: Total deathtrap. It is SOOOO windy today, it toppled over four times. Nobody was crushed, though.
Brad says
Did you and Lloyd take a picture in it?
